Terms of service
These terms govern your access to ToolVerity and any listing, subscription or promotional service purchased through the site. By using the service, you agree to these terms.
1. The service
ToolVerity is an independent directory for discovering and comparing AI products. Catalog information is assembled from public sources, community submissions and product owners. Inclusion, ranking, verification and editorial coverage remain subject to our review.
2. Accounts, submissions and claims
You must provide accurate information and have authority to submit or claim a product. You are responsible for keeping listing details, destination links and ownership information current. We may request evidence, edit a listing for clarity or reject, suspend or remove content that is inaccurate, unsafe, unlawful or inconsistent with our standards.
3. Featured subscriptions
A Featured subscription provides labeled promotional placement, category priority and verified-owner access for the selected tool. The current price is shown before checkout. Payment does not guarantee editorial approval, verification, a positive assessment, traffic, leads or sales.
4. Billing, renewal and cancellation
Featured subscriptions are billed monthly in advance by Stripe and automatically renew until canceled. You may cancel through the customer billing portal; cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the paid billing period. Fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law or where ToolVerity confirms a billing error.
5. Sponsors and disclosures
Paid placements are visibly labeled as Featured or Sponsored. Sponsorship affects placement, not our independent description, verification rules or editorial judgment.
6. Acceptable use
You may not misuse the site, submit deceptive or infringing material, impersonate another person, interfere with security, scrape the service at disruptive scale, manipulate rankings or use the directory to promote illegal, fraudulent or harmful activity.
7. Intellectual property
ToolVerity owns its site design, original copy, taxonomy and software. Product names, logos and third-party materials remain the property of their respective owners. By submitting materials, you grant ToolVerity a worldwide, non-exclusive license to display, format and promote them in connection with the directory and its marketing.
8. Third-party products and links
ToolVerity does not operate the products it lists. Features, pricing, availability, security and legal compliance can change without notice. Evaluate each provider and its terms before purchasing or sharing sensitive information.
9. Disclaimers
The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties and do not promise uninterrupted access, complete accuracy or a particular commercial result.
10. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, ToolVerity is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, lost profits or losses caused by third-party products. Our aggregate liability relating to a paid service will not exceed the amount you paid ToolVerity during the three months before the event giving rise to the claim.
11. Privacy and changes
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information. We may update these terms as the service changes. Material updates will be posted here with a revised effective date, and continued use after an update constitutes acceptance.
12. Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of Brazil, without limiting mandatory consumer rights that apply where you live. Questions, billing concerns and legal notices can be sent through our contact page.
